Giulia is a professional in ICT/Cyber risk management and criminal defence and prosecution of cyber crime with almost 10 years of experience. She started her career working for a law firm and then for public prosecutor in Rome, with a focus on legal activities related to cyber crime defence and prosecution. Once the required internship was completed and the bar exam passed, she moved into private sector, helping different leading industries in their Governance / Cyber Risk Management & Security journey – travelling the world and working in 4 continents. Since 2021, Giulia has been working in at UCI, initially in 1st line (Group Cyber Security) and nowadays in 2nd line (ICT & Cyber risk management). In her career, Giulia has specifically gained extensive experience in Cyber Security practices and risk management, both as independent advisor and working in first line of defence at UniCredit S.p.A, where she gained a great perspective on the reduction of attack surface, dealing with the protection of UCI internet exposed assets and today leveraging on this experience in her role of ICT risk management specialist. She made an impact in tackling inequalities, representing the priority of “Inequalities due to Technological Disruptions” as Head of Italian delegation during Youth 7 Summit activities and proposing a call to action to G7 leaders , focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Gig Workers’ rights, and Gender Gap in Digital Professions, especially for Cyber Security leadership
